The Lord Raglan Hotel 2015: 'Tassie Pepper Devil' lives on

Untapped at The Lord Raglan Hotel (Jan, 2015)

Thanks to Harvs, we are sharing the love, the Tassie Pepper Devil love. It's a damn awesome feeling to have your beer on tap at a great establishment like The Lord Raglan Hotel. Even better when my beer is part of the 'on tap' list. As you can see, it's sitting with some hefty craft beers. Nice!

Heck, my Tassie Pepper Devil even got some reviews from the lovely folk who use the 'Untapped' app.

It's funny. I've got that Untapped app, but I rarely use it. However, my US trip later this year is prompting me to use it more regularly. I rated my beer a 4 out of 5. Sure, I'm the brewer but I couldn't help notice an improvement in the taste of the Tasmanian Mountain Pepper.

The subtle pepper taste is evident, in my opinion. That lingering pepper taste with a touch of sage-like quality gives this beer that "smashable" feel to it. Granted, I only had one schooner of it but it certainly isrefreshing and great to see it tasting great after it being brewed mid/late August last year.

I am just happy the craft beer folk love the beer. :-D

Sydney Craft Beer Week 2014: Yulli's

I was invited to brew for Sydney Craft Beer Week back in October, 2014. The idea was to brew a beer that incorporated a native Australian herb or spice. I chose Tasmanian Mountain Pepper. What an honour and privilege it was. My 'Tassie Pepper Devil' was a complete hit with the customers, and it even got a fantastic review on The Guardian Australia. How awesome is that?

For those interested, here is The Guardian Australia article. I'm chuffed :-D

You can find out more details about the event that was on the Sydney Craft Beer Week website.

Riverside Brewing: 15 minutes of fame

Well, Andy Warhol was right: 15 minutes of fame. A bit of a throw-back-thursday, although it was only a few months ago. Still, we need to reminisce every now and again, right?

You can check out the full article here.

I even managed to get my fat head in the local paper. Quite clearly I have a good face for radio. :-D
